I really hope Luffy comes back to meet Laboon once again...

Xyrus • 1 year ago

Did he still not up to the latest episode?

Skratta • 1 year ago

Nah man, he probably might once he becomes Pirate King, revisiting all islands and people on his way back. Just a theory of mine.

Dark dragon master • 7 months ago

Im assuming at the end of the Grandline you can visit the beginning again since its a sphere so when he reaches Raftel and ends up climbing the Red Line again

I think so too 😂 agree with your theory

SNSNSNSNSNNSNSNSNSNNSJSJS • 2 years ago

Oda is really too scary. He's already planning for the future when he was writing this. Seriously, just how big his brain is. I even think sometimes that oda was from the future and stole this one piece series or the one piece was written by his ancestor and he's only rewriting it lol bwhahahahah jk.

Xyrus • 1 year ago

It is not that hard to foreshadow stories, is it?

Nah, I'm used to reading predictable manhwa/manga/manhua, most of the author that I know don't have the sharp memory of oda. And there are so many chapters, ofc I'd forget many details. this is your first time watching onepiece based on your comments so I don't blame you for thinking that(also, I know you'll not going to read it, but Just in case you read the manga, you'll be more impressed by oda). I also read many different mangas at the same time to not feel bored so I often forgot about informations on onepiece that's why I rewatch it many times(that's not just the reason why I rewatch it, it's also because the early chapters were good and funny) btw, have fun watching one piece brother, trust me, this isn't the "best selling manga of all time" for no reason.

yes but realise this was 21 years ago,
and he is foreshadowing things like this decades into the future,
and hundreds of chapters later

Xyrus • 1 year ago

Well obviously, writing a story that you don't know where it will go is simply foolish, ofc you need to know what will happen in the future so foreshadowing is not something impressive at all.

yes but foreshadowing over 15 IRL years isnane,

i don't think you understand the pure volume of 1000 chapters,

he would have a rough sketch of what the entire story would look like,
but it is across so many chapters so it isnt as simple as
"just foreshadowing"

Xyrus • 1 year ago

When you write a story, sometimes ideas will just come into your mind while you walking calmly at the park and that idea can be expand far beyond that you would think you can use early stories to build it up.
I'm a writer myself, on the story I'm currently writing, the phenomenon at the very beginning that happened to a certain character feels like irrelevant to the story and just a way for readers to empathize him but no, I'm planning to use it to end the story. It is something important to the plot so to me, using it at early stages where it feels useless and foreshadowing it is not a challenge since I already write it long before I come up with the rest of the story.

Foreshadowing is not that hard, I might write of the rest of the story I'm writing 20 years from now but that doesn't change the concept I'm planning to build up.

This is just my personal experience writing stories for 3 years now, I'm still young so I knew that I'm still learning but a way for foreshadowing to occur is not a challenge to me because in my opinion, that is the most easiest way to build up something complex just like how I'm trying to make the plot of my story secretly connected to each other from the very beginning and expand it later.

Stop being a bad sport and just admit that it is in fact amazing.
Even if you're an author that makes stories, oda's on the frontline of making stories everyday and is still doing it to this day, oda foreshadowed gear 5, joyboy, and many other things and those things happened over literal decades.
Even if you have experience in writing as an author, you have to realize that this man is writing on the spot with a rough sketch in the background trying to literally put dots together, all the while you're probably taking ur time writing this making sure you're getting everything together.
This man has a weekly schedule, writes and draws and comes with ideas on the spot in spite of having to go with people's demands and people that consistently go over his story trying to critique it as hard as possible.
You're a joke compared to what oda currently is, dead simple. I admit that as a person that doesn't know you and that doesn't write or try actually writing fiction, I might seem anything but humble in this case, but don't for a second think you're remotely close to what this person that is renowed all over the world for is anything like you, or is any type of ordinary, the very essence of his story is to go beyond ordinary, the very essence of his willpower writing all of this is what goes beyond ordinary.
"Foreshadowing is not that hard" well yeah, I'd bet it is anything but hard when you're taking your time with it, but you try to go out of your way to foreshadow ahead of time not knowing if you're going to die or not before finishing the complete story, oda himself is literally fighting against so many odds every single day, most days he probably doesn't even get to see his family, not to mention his age and the fact that he still pulls all nighters to get there in time with his latest chapters, and not to mention the fact that he literally does this just for us to READ and try to enjoy.
Yeah buddy, it is not that hard, but just because one aspect of writing is not that hard doesn't mean that his circumstances allow foreshadowing to be any easier than it is, in fact, I'd go out of my way to call it way harder for him than anything you've ever wrote.
Learn some respect and decency before going around on a comment section and trying to act like you know anything about somebody else's life.

The introduction of Baroque Works.

prdprdprdprdprdel • 7 months ago

Raphtel, the legendary island only the king of the pirates found.. An island that's directly on the other side of the reverse mountain probably around 100km or 2 episodes away from this spot.. Sadly, none of the incredibly powerful pirates ever thought about just climbing the mountain even though they're strong enough to do that while carrying their whole ass ship and crew...
